Excellence Photo Booths

Excellence Photo Booths

Yesterday, I sat down with Jake Westerfield from Excellence Photo Booths! I got to know more about his company and all the fun things they have to offer! If you’re unfamiliar with the photo booth concept/craze think back to being at the mall or state fair with your family and friends and squishing together in those tiny booths and pulling the curtain so you can spend the next couple of minutes making the craziest faces you can possibly come up with! Well, Excellence Photo Booths has taken that concept and brought it into our digital era!

Jake and I walked around Tranquility Hollow, looking for possible options for their photo booth to be set up at your next event. (When I say “next event” the sky is the limit! They can do birthday parties, weddings, bar mitzvah’s, showers, etc) We definitely found a couple of spots on our property where they can set up and if you so choose, can even use our beautiful landscape as the “backdrop” for your photos! We then sat down, and looked through some pictures of events they have done and I asked him a few questions so I could share a little bit more about them with ya’ll!
Q&A With Jake:
Shelly: Do you offer vintage booths, digital or a combination of the two?
Jake: We offer digital photo booths with an 8 second print time!
(Fastest time in the biz)
Shelly: Can I get the photos from my event on a CD or online gallery?
Jake: Both! Here are the things that we can add to your package separately:
Social Media Kiosk:

This is an AWESOME new add-on they recently started doing AND they are the ONLY one in the state to offer this! Your pictures can be displayed on a separate kiosk station where you can immediately upload your photos to Facebook, Twitter or send them in an e-mail!
Slideshow on 32 inch LED TV
Memory Book
Double Prints
DVD of all pictures
Pick a favorite photo to be made into a 12x36 canvas gallery wrap
“Love letter” style branded USB containing all event photos
Shelly: Can I add a logo, artwork or text to the photos?
Jake: Absolutely! We can add a couples name & date of wedding, company logo etc. (See example photo)

Shelly: Do I have a choice of color or black and white photos?
Jake: We offer both!
Shelly: What kind of props do you have?
Jake: We have a large assortment of all different kinds of props! Fun hats, mustaches, feather boas, silly masks, glasses etc.
( I would suggest going to their website and checking out the online galleries to see some of the fun pictures they can get )
Shelly: What happens if our photo booth has a “problem” during the event?
Jake: We always have an attendant (or 2) at the event working the booth. Should anything happen we have back up equipment and should be able to repair on the spot! We do require a contract to be signed between us and the person(s) responsible for renting our photo booth.
Shelly: Do the photos actually print on-site?
Jake: They will print in 8 seconds AND they are waterproof! So if you spill a glass of water or someone decides to use your photo as a coaster you’re still good to go!
Shelly: What are my options as backdrops?
Jake: We have a curtain that is white on the inside of the booth and black on the outside! We have found that this helps us take the best quality photo! On that note, you can also opt to take down the curtain and use the landscape of Tranquility Hollow as your backdrop!
Shelly: What sets you apart from other photo booth companies in the area?
Jake: We offer 4 years of experience which may not seem like “a long time” but it actually makes us veterans of this type of business. We have 100% customer satisfaction and have taken THOUSANDS of photos over the span of hundreds of events! Also, our social media kiosk which no other photo booth in the state offers, helps set us apart from other companies like us.

Call or E-mail “Excellence Photo Booths” to have them set-up at your next event at Tranquility Hollow! You know you can’t pass up something as fun as this!
